Transformer leakage can be broadly divided into sealing leakage and welding leakage. To deal with sealing leakage, mainly to improve the seal quality, such as for the casing, oil standard, radiator valve, large cover, on-load switch and other places containing seals, if the tightening screw is not effective, can replace the seal or re-glue seal; processing welding leakage, can be taken to fill the welding method. No matter in the process of dealing with which oil leakage, should prohibit the use of thick material method or tying method.


1、Seals


The pressure-bearing area of the sealing rubber should be compatible with the force of the screw, otherwise it is difficult to compress; when replacing the rubber sealing ring of the oil plug, the valve and channel at each inlet of the part should be closed and replaced under the condition that its own negative pressure is maintained to a large amount of oil, the seal should have good oil resistance and anti-aging properties, better elasticity and mechanical properties, and the sealing material should avoid using materials such as asbestos packing and cork gasket as far as possible.


Poor structure or sealing method unreasonable parts, such as radiators, oil purifier coupling flange strength is not enough, easy to deform when tightening the bolt, so that the flange can not tighten the liner, should be transformed or replaced. Seal the crimp plane to be clean, place the rubber gasket, good first coated with a layer of adhesive glue such as polyvinyl chloride, varnish, etc.


2、Welding


Transformer tank leakage found in the upper part of the oil tank, only a small amount of oil discharge can be welded; tank leakage found in the lower part of the tank, due to lifting the core to put oil waste is too large and restricted by the site conditions, can be used with oil welding treatment. With oil patch welding should be carried out in the case of oil leakage is not significant, otherwise, vacuum should be used to drain the oil method to cause negative pressure after welding, the vacuum of negative pressure should not be too high, to equal pressure inside and outside is appropriate to avoid the inhalation of iron.


Oil patch welding generally prohibit the use of gas welding; welding the choice of finer welding electrodes such as 422, 425 welding rod is appropriate; welding should be applied when the weld site to remove the oil stains, good with alkaline water rinse and then dry; welding process to prevent penetration and fire, welding parts must be below the oil surface; welding intermittent, fast spot welding, burning arc time should be controlled within 10s ~ 20s, does not allow a long time continuous Welding.


Patch welding oil leakage more serious pores, can be plugged with wire or riveted before welding; in the vicinity of the sealing rubber gasket or other vulnerable parts welding, cooling and protection measures should be taken.


3、Grit hole


Castings on the sand hole can be used Diyu one plugging rubber pressure plugging, plugging good to pay attention to the reinforcement, and then baked with a hair dryer 5min ~ 15min until curing.
